More pics

Some, if not most, of the recent pics we've posted have been taken with "our" new camera, a very nice Nikon D70 DSLR that Kate is learning to use for taking pictures of cells at work. I don't know if it'll work on cells, but it does take nice pictures. Now if only Kate could justify a telephoto lens for her research...

August Visitors

Claire and Tori (or "Tora" as Claire calls her) got along very well when my friend Mary from my grad school lab came to visit with her two kids. (Ben played a lot of basketball outside, so isn't in the pictures.)

Great-Grandpa C. and his only great-grandchildren. His friend Beverly came too and made friends with Claire with a gift of a book you can read in the bathtub. (this also makes mom very happy because now Claire is excited about baths instead of refusing/crying!)

Aunt Jo and Uncle Drew also came that weekend, but somehow missed out on pictures. I'll post this one of Drew from Lise's baptism weekend instead:

I met Adrienne in Spain many years ago and was in her wedding when I was pregnant with Claire (5 weddings to attend that summer! and only ~ 1 since then, nice timing guys!) She visited with her new baby Mackenzie (~2 months old).

'Tuz?

We were wondering when the 'why?' stage would arrive. It's here. Today. In full force. Except it takes the form of: "Tuz? Mama?" (repeated after ever single answer I give her... seemingly endlessly...)
