Bunny love

Our rabbit, Bates, is a pretty good pet. He so loves being petted that he doesn't even mind Sage's "hugs" and even likes it when feet pet him. He'll lay there soaking up the petting for as long as one of the girls will stay there and pet him.

First and Last days of school 2013-2014

Races

The girls did two races this spring. A 175m one put on my some of my students in honor of the 175th anniversary of the college (pics shown here) and C and L did a mile race in June, that we neglected to get pictures of. They loved racing, but loved the treat afterward even more.

Lise turns Five

And if you're a five-year-old girl that means you must be in love with everything "Frozen." (except the actual watching of the movie, if you're our five-year-old anyway.) She got the DVD, the soundtrack (which has been well-used since) and several Frozen books!

Easter 2014

Yep, we're a bit behind on blogging again. Here are a few pictures from the easter weekend. The girls loved seeing their cousins.  And that last picture totally sums up their current personalities.

Winter visitors

I didn't realize I hadn't posted some winter pictures, too. We were really happy to have our friends Adrienne and Britt visit - along with their two little girls. That's a lot of little girls in a house and on a sled!

The Never-ending Winter - Part I

Record?

Is this a record for longest blogging break for us? Since it's not like I have tons more time now than the last 2.5 months, I'm not going to give you detailed posts on everything we did, but just a quick cliffnotes version:

Greg and Kristin got married - the girls loved jumping off the altar stairs before the wedding while pictures were happening. Congrats, G and K!

They also liked dressing up.

We got a little snow.

It was even enough for sledding, despite all the leaves poking through. But had to do it anyway, who knows if there will be any more the rest of the season!!

The girls had their hair done the same way.

We got more snow. This time it was good for playing soccer in the partially-shoveled driveway.

Sage turned two. Her sister was excited also.

Good friends came to visit with their two girls. It was a very girly house for a weekend!

Oh yes, and we got more snow.

Sage's first french braid - had to have one just like her sisters.

Pile on Mama is a fun game when I get home from work. I taught a new January term course that was fun - but left me very few moments to do anything other than work.  These were good moments even if I was getting squished.

We got lots more snow... and more... and more... and I think we quit taking pictures of it.
