16 months

At 16 months, Sage loves going outside to play, even when it's still cold, like it was a few weeks ago when Nana came up for the day.  Even though her nose and hands were cold when we made her come inside she still screamed her disapproval and wanted to stay outside longer.

Her sisters help her not fall over in her too-big boots. (or try, there might have been a tumble or two)

 

 

She's a very happy 16-month old most of the time!

 

Finally!

"Finally?" what?

 

Let's look a little closer...

Claire's front tooth that had been hanging on by a thread for close to a month finally was lost (ok, I pulled it when she asked me to after it kept bleeding while brushing her teeth.) This is her fifth lost tooth.  Here's how she lost the others:  1- lost eating granola, really lost, probably swallowed.

2- Lise accidentally knocked it out of her mouth. (so when Claire has a loose tooth Lise always makes a fist and asks "want me to knock it out, Claire?")

3- She fell off the swing and it fell out of her mouth.

4- I brushed it out while brushing her teeth.

Sometime in the past month it had looked like this, and in the last week it was even more crooked and wiggly!

 

The tooth fairy must have been thinking the tooth was never going to come out too, because she forgot and didn't make it to our house the first night, but she finally made it the second night - finally!

What do people in San Diego talk about all the time?

 

Here in the midwest, we always have the crazy weather to talk about!

 

This is from two weeks ago.  But we just got another few inches this week and today the wind chills were in the single digits. Nothing like last year!
