We have really liked our new neighborhood so far. Especially nice? It's a cul de sac with few cars and lots of kids to play with! Here's a picture from the last week or so taken out our window as the girls played with three other kids from the neighborhood. They were doing chalk drawings in our driveway; Will and I were having fun listening to their conversations. Approximate ages of kids: 2 (almost 3!), 5, 5, 7, 8. I expect this to be a familiar sight this summer, with even a few more kids thrown into the mix!

Winter or Summer?
With the nice day we were outside enjoying the sun as much as possible. The girls were maybe a little bit confused on whether it was summer or winter! Here are a few pictures:

the Greats
A few weeks ago we were happy to visit with the girls' Great-Grandparents (all of them who aren't in Florida for the winter anyway!) Here are a few pictures. (thanks to 'Pop' and his new camera for these nice shots!)

Blog and books
I got bored with the format of the blog, so I changed it! If you're reading this on a reader, perhaps you want to visit the blog to check it out. In this new format, you, as our dear reader, actually have options for how you want to view the blog!
The orange bar at the top will have either several options (Classic, Flipcard, Magazine, etc.) or you'll just see 'Magazine' - depending on which internet browser you're using. If you only see 'magazine' you can move your mouse over the orange bar and the others should 'magically' appear!
Click on the picture by this post to read all of the post and see the other pictures!
All the links to the archives and the videos are still there on the right side, they just won't appear until you move your mouse over the thin black bar on the right, then the catagories will appear and you can click on 'Videos,' for example, to see the list of videos.
If you want to read an entire post in 'Magazine' - the default style I chose, just click on the picture for the post you want to read and it will open up the whole post. If you miss the old format, try 'classic.' If you like seeing a bunch of pictures that go back a ways, try 'flipcard' or 'snapshot' or 'mosaic.' If the orange bar shrinks in some formats, just move your mouse over where it should be and it will appear. Let me know if you have any problems with it!
Remember, in all styles, just click on a picture to be taken to the entire post! Enjoy!

I don't think it's news that our girls love to read books. They even each use flashlights to read another book or two after lights out:
And both Lise and Claire read books to Sage:
Lise just makes up the stories, of course. Claire is reading a lot. Her current favorite series is The Boxcar Children.

No crying over spilt milk?
There were a lot of tears shed because of this milk - both by the one who dropped it, and the one whose pictures were splattered and 'ruined!' Will and I couldn't help but laugh. It was too funny how quickly they both started crying and how far the milk flew.

big bed!
The other day Lise and Sage had some cuddle and book time with Dad in the big bed. I don't remember what Claire was up to (maybe outside shoveling?), but the younger two had fun!
