Jealous?

This baby is so lucky to have two adoring older sisters. I don't think there's been a moment of jealousy yet since the arrival of "Serge" (as Lise calls her... btw, Lise calls Claire: "CUR" )

Can't believe Sage is already 8 weeks old. Actually... ok, yes, I just doubled-checked, that's right! So hard to believe that I second-guessed myself! She won't be 2 months old until Monday, and we'll have some 2 month stats after her visit to the doctor on Tuesday, but for now, here's a couple pictures taken tonight (so the light was less than ideal) when I remembered it was Wednesday and she was another week older:

Smiley baby

Sage is a laid-back baby, and starting Wednesday or Thursday, she's been starting to smile more and more. She smiled before, but mostly at the beams up on the ceiling! Now she's 'talking' and cooing and smiling actually AT us when we change her diaper or are just talking with her.

Chair pictures

Perhaps some avid blog readers (are there any?) with good memories will remember two of these pictures from 2.5 years ago. We took the picture of Lise in the same pose basically on accident, but this time around I wanted to make sure to get one of Sage in the chair. (Lise calls it "blue thing" - 'Put her in her boo fing, Mama!') I think they look a bit like sisters.

The Daily News

The other day the older two just randomly grabbed sections of the newspaper (the Telegraph Herald, of course, http://www.thonline.com/ ) and sat down to read them. Lise looked at the pictures, but I'm pretty sure Claire was trying to read it. She's reading already, but I'm not sure that the TH is written quite at her current reading level.

Sage isn't even pretending to read the newspaper yet, but here's a picture of her anyway:
