The Daddy Shoe Game

Claire invented this game all by herself. She hides her little yellow ball in one of Will's shoes. Then pulls it out, puts it back in, shakes the shoe, turns it around, pulls it out, puts it back in, and so on. Here, see for yourself:

Kissy-Fishy Face

Lately Claire has started puckering up her lips often and making kissing/smacking noises. She won't actually kiss us like this and we're trying to teach her to blow kisses this way, but maybe she really means it to be a fishy face.

First look at the tooth

This is from a week ago, so it's even bigger now and the one next to it is coming in too, but we've been busy and she doesn't like to have pictures taken of her tooth, so this is it for now.

Party time - triathlon

K's brother Greg did a sprint triathlon this morning in Pardeeville, WI. All the siblings were there to watch. It was a beautiful day and a lot of fun. Celebrating the 4th

Happy Independence Day!
Claire is celebrating by cutting her first tooth! It isn't visible yet, but you can definitely feel it coming through her bottom gums.
Surprisingly, she hasn't seemed to mind too much, though last night she put off her bedtime by about 3 hours... fussing, not acting tired, wanting more to eat, etc. etc. etc. She did let us sleep in this morning, since it is a holiday and everything: til 6:30am !!

Weekend

This weekend Claire got to see friends and family. Lately she's been a little more stranger-shy, but she actually didn't seem too anxious around everyone this time. Running friends came over on Saturday and family on Sunday.
