All the One-Year-Old Girls

Just for my own fun I was looking at old pictures of all the girls when they had just turned one.  I guess I can see how they're related, but they aren't identical or anything.  Because I don't even think you need them, I'm not going to label these pictures.

Also - happy birthday to Aunt E! :)

More hiking

We took advantage of very nice recent weekend for another hike.  Here are a few pictures:

Turkey Day

We're a little late - but in honor of Turkey Day, here's a picture taken from our front door of a few of the 7-10 turkeys that live somewhere nearby and frequently visit our neighborhood and yard.  This was from a few weeks ago, but we did see them all on Thanksgiving morning.  I guess they avoided ending up on someone's dining room table.

Our girls were worried we were going to kill and eat one of these turkeys.  We assured them that we weren't.  Now somehow Lise thinks that we only eat turkeys after they just get old and die, though we didn't tell her that.  She's in a 'death-obsessed' phase right now, so we opted not to fill her in with the full truth.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Is she really one year old?

Crazy hair

...and three bottom teeth. Sage still has just three bottom teeth (and four on the top), which makes her smile look a little off-balance.  It is extra cute with messy hair.

Hiking

We went on a hike a few weekends ago. We love living close to great hiking, and the girls love getting outside.  (One of our girls is having trouble adjusting to the season. Those are long pants, but she insisted on wearing them pulled up to her knees. She claims to never be cold.)
