15 months

It's not possible!  She moves up to the next room at day care next week... where she'll be until she's two!  For some reason this seems like more of a big deal to me than turning one. She's growing up! Not going to be a Garden baby anymore... she'll be a Meadow Friend instead!

Winter ice cream

It's never too cold for a bit of ice cream, though you might have to eat it out of a mug instead of a bowl.

Painting

The girls took some recent painting very seriously.

 

 

Well, not completely seriously, it was fun, too!

Big and Little

The oldest and youngest play quite well together.  Here they are both enjoying pounding on the big exercise ball and making it bounce while the other is also pounding on it...  I guess you had to be there.

 

Sick baby

Last week Sage was home sick much of the week. She had a fever and a cold, but probably what was bothering her most was trying to get her molars in. Her gums were really red and swollen on the bottom of her mouth. Will was home with her one morning and after finishing something in the kitchen, came into the living room and found Sage had fallen asleep on the floor. She hasn't taken a morning nap for over a month, but being sick changes things. He covered her with the blanket and she slept for 45 minutes. Her fever was gone by Thursday, but it wasn't until today that she showed signs of feeling her normal happy self most of the day. I'm not sure that the teeth are completely through, but hopefully she's over the worst part.
